HOW BANGLADESH CITIZENS APPLY FOR VIETNAM BUSINESS TOURIST VISA NEWEST UPDATE

Vietnam is considered to be very strict and restricts in Immigration policies to citizens with special nationality, including Bangladesh. For Banglades citizens they can apply for Vietnam visa directly at the Embassy/ Consulate of Vietnam in Bangladesh or in another country where they are living however it is very time – consuming and difficult to get Vietnam visa so it is mandatory for them to go through travel agencies, organizations or enterprises that are legally operating in Vietnam to make a guarantee dossier to apply for an entry letter at Immigration Department. I. HOW BANGLADESH CITIZENS APPLY FOR VIETNAM VISA

Option 1: Apply for Vietnam visa by Business Entry Approval Letter

Bangladesh citizens come to Vietnam for business, then you need to apply for a business visa. To do that, you need a Vietnamese organization or individual to guarantee you. This organization can be a company with foreign-invested capital, a state company, a representative office of a foreign trader, etc. All must be legally organized and operated in Vietnam. Also, the company needs to have a Portal service account on Immigration Department symstem to submit the entry document.

► Applicant must prepare the following documents:

• Application forms for entry dispatch (according to the form of the Immigration Department) for the applicants;
• Valid passport with validity more than 6 months from the date of entry and have at least two blank pages;
• Legal documents of sponsoring organization such as Business registration license, Establish Lisence of Representative office, Investment Certificate,…
• Tax report of nearest monthly/ quarterly of the organization;
• Application forms for entry letter signed and stamped by the legal representative of the company

► ​Processing time: 10-15 working days, depending on the status of the application review by the Vietnam Immigration Department.

► Visa duration: Bangladeshi citizens can apply for a business entry letter with the timline as below, and note that this period will completely depend on the approval of the Immigration Department of Vietnam.

• 3 months multiple entries
• 3 months single entry
• 1 month single entry

Option 2: Apply for Vietnam visa by Tourism Entry Approval Letter

If you want to come to Vietnam for a short trip, you can apply for a tourist visa because of its convenience.

► Applicant must prepare the following documents:

• A valid passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the date of entry and has at least 2 blank pages;
• Round-trip airline ticket booking confirmation;
• Hotel booking confirmation in Vietnam;
• Travel schedule;
• Visa or TRC of a third country if you are not residing at the country of nationality.

► Processing time: 10-15 working days, depending on the status of the application review by the Vietnam Immigration Department.

► Visa duration: Duration of the Tourist visa will depend on the time of the flight booking, hotel booking or travel schedule and be aware that this period will be completely subject to the approval of the Immigration Department of Vietnam.
 

II. DOCUMENTS FOR BANGLADESH CITIZENS TO STAMP VISA

After abtaining the entry letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department, please print the entry letter along with other personal documents below:

1. Original Passport (valid for more than 6 months and must have at least 2 blank pages)
2. Two 4x6 photos with white background
3. Print the all the pages of the entry letter issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department
4. Complete the application form for entry and exit from Vietnam
