PHILIPPINES TOURIST VISA FOR FOREIGN EXPATRIATES - DETAILED CHECKLIST AND FEE

The Philippines is a new land that is attracting a lot of attention from international tourists. Most foreign tourists are not currently exempt from Philippine visas, so issues with Philippine tourist visas have also become a concern for many international diners living and working in Vietnam. I. TYPE AND VALUE OF PHILIPPINES TOURIST VISA
- Visa category: 9A
- Visa validity: 3 months single entry
- Length of stay: 30 days
II. CHECKLIST APPLICATION FOR PHILIPPINES TOURIST VISA FOR FOREIGNERS IN VIETNAM 2023
- Philippines visa application form;
- Passport/ Travel Document (Valid for at least 6 months or beyond the intended period of stay in the Philippines, and at least 2 blank pages for visa stamping);
- Citizen identification card (if any);
- One (1) recent colored ID photo/ Passport size (4.5 CM x 3.48 CM);
- Acceptable proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (Vaccine Certificate- fully vaccinated/ Children below 15 years old are exempt from this requirement but need to be accompanied by a legal guardian meeting all entry requirements.);
- Travel Insurance Certificate (one original and one photocopy);
- Bank Statement (At least minimum of 5000USD per person);
- Vietnam work permit is still valid (Original and one photocopy);
- Temporary residence card (Original and one photocopy);
- Rountrip ticket;
- Hotel accommodation.
Note: All documents must be in English or be translated in English
III. STEPS IN PROCESSING PHILIPPINES TOURISM VISA APPLICATION 2023
- Step 1: Prepare all documents according to the checklist;
- Step 2: Bring documents to the Philippines Embassy in Hanoi or the Philippines Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City;
- Step 3: Receive results after 10-15 working days.
IV. VISA FEES AND PHILIPPINES TOURIST VISA PROCESSING TIME
- Visa application fee paid to the Philippine Consulate/Embassy: 1,040,000 VND
- Processing time: 10-15 working days (excluding application submission date). In some cases, the Philippine Embassy/Consulate may need more time to review and process documents.
