DETAILS GUIDANCE TO SUBMIT TEMPORARY RESIDENCE CARD APPLICATION

Step 1: Prepare Required Documents for TRC application

• Gather all the required documents based on your eligibility category (working, investment, family visit, …). Ensure they meet the format, sign & seal, translation, and notarization requirements.
• Scan your documents clearly and organize them according to the required sections. There are three upload sections, each labeled for a specific type of document. Each section allows files up to 5MB. You may combine multiple documents into a single file or upload them separately, as long as they are within the size limit.

​📌 Reminder :

• Your passport must be valid at least 30 days longer than the TRC you apply for.
• TRC must match the purpose of your current visa.

Step 2: Submit the TRC’s Application

For Companies or Organizations: Use the company’s digital signature USB/token to register an account on the National Public Service Portal

For Individual Sponsors: Register an account using a verified mobile phone number

Step-by-Step Process:

1. Fill out the application form online with the foreign applicant’s information (refer to the Form name NA7 or NA8 depending on your case).
2. Upload all required documents as PDF scanned copies.
3. Carefully review all the information and uploaded files.
4. Click “Submit” to officially send the application.
5. Save the application reference code to track the processing status online.

After Online Submission, bring all original hard-copy documents to submit at Immigration office and present the application reference code

Step 3: Pay TRC’s application fees according to goverment

Make Payment After Submitting Original Documents: you will receive a notification to make the online payment for your TRC application.

1. From 01 year up to 02 years: ~ 145 USD/Card
2. From 02 years up to 03 years: ~ 155 USD/Card
3. Over 03 years: ~ 165 USD/Card

Step 4: Receive the TRC’s result

1. Processing time: 7-10 working days
2. Collect at the same Immigration Office
3. When collecting the result, please bring:

• The appointment slip/result return receipt
• Personal identification documents

2. Applicant’s original passport;
3. A valid and suitable Vietnam visa / TRC (LĐ/DN/TT);
4. Two (2) passport-sized photographs (2cm x3cm);
5. A notarized true copy of work permit;
6. Residential registration certificate issued online or by the local police department;
7. A notarized true copy of the company’s business registration;
8. For their spouses/ children, please provide: Consular Legalization of Family book/ Birth certificate/ Marriage certificate.
