The new policy, which will start on August 15, 2023, allows visitors from all countries and territories to apply for an e-visa online that can be used for single or multiple entries. CONDITIONS FOR BEING GRANTED A VIETNAM E-VISA

• Foreigners who are abroad or foreigners who are in Vietnam but whose visa is about to expire;
• Have a valid passport with a validity of at least six months;
• Not falling into the cases that have not been allowed to enter Vietnam under the provisions of the Law on entry, exit, transit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam;
• Foreigners enter Vietnam by e-visa according to international border gates designated by the Government of Vietnam.

HOW TO APPLY VIETNAM E-VISA APPLICATION FOR FOREIGNERS

Step 1: Prepare the necessary documents and information for applying for a Vietnam E-visa

1. A scanned copy of the passport bio page of the applicant;
2. Portrait photo 4x6 (taken on a white background, eyes looking straight ahead, no glasses, bare head, and no hat);
3. Detailed information about (the purpose of the trip, the intended date of arrival, and the estimated date of exit);
4. Select the permitted border gates for entry and exit;
5. Expected address of temporary residence in Vietnam.

Step 2: Payment term

Please be informed that the Vietnam E-Visa application fee will not be refunded in the event of visa rejection, so you need to carefully check the information before clicking submit and paying.
