Step 1: Prepare the documents to submit the Temporary Residence Card Online

📄 First, you need to prepare the physical (paper) documents as follows:

• Form NA6 (written request/introduction)
• Form NA8 (information form)
• Applicant’s passport and valid visa or TRC
• Two passport photos (2x3 cm)
• Confirmation of temporary residence registration
• Supporting documents: work permit or exemption certificate, company business registration/investment license, sponsoring letter, relationship documents, etc.

💻 Then, prepare the files for online submission:

• Scan all required documents as listed above;
• Save all documents as PDF (File size less than 10MB);
• Save photos and passport image as JPG (File size less than 2MB).

Step 2: Online submission and payment

1. Access the online system at: https://dichvucong.bocongan.gov.vn
2. Fill in all required information of the applicant
3. Upload all scanned files as prepared in Step 1
4. After successfully submitting the application, save the application code for tracking purposes and wait for the approval notice
5. Payment: You can pay the processing fee directly through the online portal.

Step 3: Paper submission required

📌 When to submit: You may be asked to submit physical documents after the online application is accepted or at the time of receiving the result.

📌 Where to submit: Submit at the Immigration Office of the province/city where the sponsor is located.

Step 4: Tracking the application

🧭 How to Track Your Application:

1. Log in to your online account on the Public Service Portal.
2. Navigate to “My Applications” and enter your “Application Code” to check the current status (e.g., under review, approved, needs supplement, etc.).
3. In some cases, you may also receive a phone call or email notification from the Immigration Department.
4. If any additional documents are required, the system will notify you with detailed instructions.

Step 5: Getting the result

Normally 5–7 working days from the date of full document submission (can vary slightly depending on province and workload).

📢 How will I know the result is available?

After submitting the original documents at the Immigration Offices, you will receive a receipt that specifies the scheduled date for result collection.
